The Alkateia app is a Brazilian family communication app, created for children, teenagers, and their parents or guardians to stay in touch in a closed space. It combines text and voice messages, shared location, and an SOS button.

The aim is to provide an alternative to conventional social media for talking to family members, with entry by invitation and approval from a parent or guardian.

A space to talk to people you know

Alkateia has no followers, public people search, or open groups. The family chooses who can participate. Members can chat individually or in the family group.

This design reduces exposure to public contacts within the app, but does not eliminate every risk. Checking invitations, securing accounts, and guiding use remain important.

How do children and teenagers participate?

An adult creates and primarily manages the family. Children and teenagers participate with a parent or guardian's permission and supervision. Agreements should respect each member's privacy and development.

What makes this different from a conventional social network?

  • Entry through individual invitation and approval.
  • Conversations with authorized family members.
  • No followers or public people search.
  • Text and voice messages for everyday contact.
  • Shared location and SOS to complement communication.

Safety with clear expectations

Alkateia uses authentication and access controls to organize the family space. Message delivery, location sharing, and alerts depend on connectivity, permissions, and device conditions.

SOS notifies the family; it does not automatically contact public emergency services. Location represents the phone's available position.

Who develops Alkateia?

Alkateia is developed and operated by XOSSI INOVA SIMPLES (I.S), registered under Brazilian CNPJ 69.356.405/0001-63. The support and privacy contact is suporte.alkateia@gmail.com. Also see the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.
